Anyone afraid of mice?

This has been a shitty week and I mean really shitty week...I just hope after 2007 is over good things will come my way...

Draft drawings for the Publishing House I had the interview some months ago(yeap I got the job;)

Dean Loner Part 2

"Jesus Christ...This is impossible."

"I have no feelings whatsoever...Even now..."

"...that I am standing over her lifeless body. I feel nothing about her damn' it!And I got her into this story in the first place"

"Sebastian McRod. He owns the club where Matilda used to work. In fact...he owns the whole city...He even owns me!"

I am verry happy! Very happy indeed!!!Check this out!!! I designed the characters and did the storyboards (amongst other things :P) and now we put up a sample on youtube! The director/script writer is Dimitri Vorris and this is the first full-feature animated film born in Greece!

Merry Christmas!

For you ladies out there that you have already started thinking what to wear on New Year's Eve party and for the lads that started practising their flirting lines:)))))

Magazine Doodler

Not one of my favourite posts but i give you at least something. And yes more Dean Loner to come:P

Αφιερωμένο σε όλους τους 'φωτολάγνους' που επισκέπτονται τη σελίδα μου!!!! ;) Ευχαριστώ παιδιά!

Summer love!

I swear I've seen guys on the beach doing this;)

Different style - different mood! Trying to create more foxy things for a fashion magazine:)))

Dean Loner

"I could hear his footsteps right behind me... I felt his breath, his eyes upon my shoulder... He is about to make a move.... And I have to make mine...No one ever gets Dean Loner!''

-"That's it Mr.Lawrey... Hand over the cash..."
-"Do you wanna arrest me, or steal me?"

-"Don't touch me!Can't you see? This is what I made you!You have to stay away from me Matilda!"
-"Too late Loner...Too late..."

Playing around with Wacom in Photoshop. I love Sin City...Can't you tell? Putting just a little bit of noir in it though:)))

Theater - Ecology

A new threatical group here in Greece is making a very nice attempt of awakening ecological consciousness on young children. Talking about the stupidity of today's fashion which takes advantage of animals (a subject I am really concerned as well) and the destruction of our planet, they are making junior think about it the next time they'll pull a cat's tail...

The whole show is in Black-n-White and it is presented like the 9 0'clock news. The only color is the images on a screen. Here I give you some samples:)))

If you live in Athens or going to be in Athens in the next 2 months don't miss it! It's free and it has a point!!!

My film:)

Long before my film's final name 'Love in Disguise' was conceived it was called 'Shall we Dance?' which was waaaaay too obvious. For some of you who asked to see it well you can find it here . Video of the month from the European Animation Center in Greece:))) Enjoy!

Job 'Interview'

Last week I went to an interview at a Puplishing Company who seek illustrators for children's books. Well I have never tried this kind of style so I thought that even if I wouldn't get the job I might produce something nice for my portfolio....et voila!

I took ideas and inspiration by other great illustrators (some of which I happen to know personally;) and I am very pleased with the final piece...Now we only have to wait for the Publishers reply:D

Not my style really but it worths to try:)

Very rough...Keep up with me...

I know...I need to color it! I just wanted to share it! Cat's name?Merlin;)

A dog in a Greek Alley

It'a been a while since my last post, but here you go;)

I should really...really start life drawing again:P

I think I've seen 'Spirit'-Stallion of the Cimarron' 200 times already....Since yesterday:P

I'm in love!!!

First time I met a Mr.Horsie from so close! I was passing by with the car and he looked at me (or the car) going 'wow girl! Nice vehicle! hehehehe

Then I got off the car taking a great risk for my life since I never been around horses and I have no idea how they react...He looked at me and he let me caress his hair (which by the way were much better brushed than mine :P) He seemed very dissapointed when only after 1200 fotos I decided to go....

Next day I returned with sugar and apples but I think that pissed him off:P He started doing this thing with his feet (2nd picture from top) and standing on his back legs but he didn't seem aggressive...Just a bit overexcited to go close:PPPP

I have no clue of what his name is but I like to think his boss calls him "Yiakoumi'' cause that's what I called him....Come to think of it...That must probably pissed him off:P

Αυτα τα μέρη που χαθηκαν τα είχα γυρίσει δεκάδες φορές με τον πατέρα μου με την μοτοσυκλέτα....Θρηνώ σαν να έχω χάσει συγγενή.....

My dad's fractals ^_^

My dad has bought a pc of his own (no one is allowed to touch mine:P) and he found this programme that creates these kinds of images. He is so proud of himself! He loves the colours and -well- the whole process I guess....

Voila!!!!! :) Just a couple of his tests :)

What d'ya mean santa ain't real'???

Well fella'....I'm gonna have t'arrest ya....Jus' follo' me....An' no screwin'round....

Fooling around with Wacom...

Chios Rulez!

You are not going to see me taking a turn in profession but these photographs come straight from my heart(and it has high resolution :PPP). I went to my home-island Chios (if a term like this exists in the rest of the world) and had a wonderful weekend.I was walking through the marketplace looking around at people saying hello to each other with their first names...So cozy and sincere... I feel I belong to this place although I always visit it through summer. My grandparents live there;the absolute excuse now that I have an income to visit it more often!

I went out on Saturday night with my sister. There's this oriental club which is like -the-place- of the island and we had a very cool night. Having said night...This photo was taken when we arrived home around 6 o' in the morning. Believe it or not we ate bread and feta...For those of you who don't know feta:....it's a long story:P The Coastline of Turkey can be seen in the distance. I just love this place in everyway!

Moving in the rear veranta of my grandparents house the wind is getting crazy and you will definately eat lots of hair unless you have taken some precautions(I didn't)! But it was worth it! Almost 9:30 at night and still you can see this breath-taking blue in the horizon. You can also hear loud music coming from the port where most clubs are (yes not a very pleasant feature when you are trying to get some sleep:P) . But this smell of the sea and jasmin from my gradma's balcony are divine! I love this place!Wait...Did I say that again?:P
Adamantios Korais statue. In the b/g is the main building (I think) of Aegeon University in Chios. Cute place and does much good to the island since it expands every year and starts getting a rather good reputation in specific studies(mainly having to do with the sea and boats and stuff:P)
I have plenty more fotos but they're mine-mine! I will be going soon to see my family and sister again so I will update this:)
Oh by the way....
When I die-please,please,please- burry me there and I will surely be in heaven;)

Once upon a time in Bristol...

I really miss life drawing.....

The View from my desk

During my MA in Bristol I used to sit opposite this table for many-many-many hours a day:)

I know I know...As if you haven't seen naked girls with wings too many times (I guess if you are guys you have plenty of stories to tell about naked chicks with wings but anywayz:P) I got a bit 'tired' by the way too sweet and cartoony things I am up to at the moment so I went back to highschool stuff of mythical creatures...

Well the only thing that makes this worth is that I done it during my lunch brake:PPPP
